My name is Simon Rhodes and I’m the proprietor of THE NORTH WEST LONDON MOBILE FOOT CLINIC:
I qualified at the Chelsea School of Chiropody as a podiatrist. I’m a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
For the first five years of my career, I worked for the NHS in what was then Islington Health Authority. Throughout my time there I worked in a broad range of clinics and domiciliary services. Some days I could be working in diabetic clinics another in old age homes. Once a week verruca sessions would be held for the children in the area. Currently, there has been a massive cut back in NHS treatment for this condition. Consequently I have many enquiries about the management of this annoying condition and am happy to treat people. More information about verrucas is available on the Conditions and Treatment Fees sections of the site.
For thirty years I ran a successful chiropody surgery in the Kilburn area. Recently I made the decision to start a well-equipped mobile visiting practice.
If you have a disability or getting out and about isn’t as easy for you as it was, then The North West London Mobile Foot Clinic is for you. It can sometimes be the case that painful corns are limiting your mobility so much that affects you in other ways that may not even occur to you. Your liability to have a fall is going to be increased if you are in pain. Restrictions in your ability to get out may be making you feel depressed.
If your life style makes it difficult to go out to a clinic, because you have young children or you aren’t able to get out of the office, then my service may be what you’re looking for.
The North West London Mobile Foot Clinic endeavours to bring the highest possible standards in treatment and hygiene to the home or work environment. All instruments are sterilised in an autoclave and then placed into separate sterile packs, drastically reducing the possiblity of cross infection.
